Knowing the Unknown

In shadows cast by a world unkind,
A tale unfolds, of a soul confined.
They see you as an undervalued flame,
Unseen, unacknowledged, a pawn in their game.
Misled and deceived, they twist the truth,
Thinking you're blind to their lies, uncouth.
But little do they know, deep within,
You see through their façade, their every sin.
Like a ghost in their midst, you silently observe,
Each misdemeanor and betrayal, you preserve.
They underestimate your keen, watchful eye,
Unaware that you see through their cunning sky.
Behind their masks, they think they're secure,
In their web of deceit, they remain so sure.
But you, my dear, hold knowledge untold,
Every falsehood, every secret, you firmly hold.
They underestimate your strength and insight,
Thinking you're ignorant to their plight.
But within your heart, a fire burns bright,
Empowering you to stand tall, to fight.
You rise from the shadows, a force to behold,
No longer content in the stories they've sold.
Their underestimation fuels your might,
As you break free from their oppressive night.
For you are not unseen, undervalued, or small,
You're a beacon of truth, standing tall.
Their lies may surround you, but they cannot sway,
The power of knowledge that lights your way.
In the face of deception, you hold your ground,
For you've seen their true colors, profound.
As you rise above, stronger and true.
No longer confined by their deceitful guise,
You reclaim your worth, reaching for the skies.
They may think they've fooled you, left you unaware,
But you, my dear, know the truth they ensnare.
