Poem - Eviction on Conviction

The corner you visited way too often,

Was the same one where I too kept dropping in.

You stopped showing up eventually

And started showing up elsewhere not so differently.

For how long more will you ditch and dash,

For your every move however careful I'll still make that decision rash.

Unfair you were, are and probably will be,

Even if you think that I'm ignorant but yet clearly I do see.

You can trick me,

but I won't be fooled.

You can lie to me,

But it's always been overruled.

You may think you're getting away,

But your game, I too know how to play.

You can think you can hide the truth,

But where you are now I've been there too in my youth.

Evasion you think is the best way to go on,

But how far will it go, how much could it prolong.

For days endless the secrets you still bury,

Patience runs out and well, you'll only scurry.

When things left unsaid and yet are understood,

Changes come across but it only implies that there's something hidden under the hood.

Naive you aren't as you supposedly show,

Yet like water I am and freely I flow.

Not once not twice not thrice,

But over a hundred and thousands of times,

On the same crossroads we look at the same signs,

You couldn't respect the reacted,

Did as you pleased and deactivated.

Your actions do speak volumes,

Creating more confusion and fumes.

A rough landing again I received,

But this is exactly what I had already perceived.
