The Currency of Ruin

In a world captivated by wealth's embrace,

A tale unfolds of money's destructive chase.

For love of riches, lives crumble and fall,

As it asserts control, gripping one and all.

Oh, the love for money breeds havoc and strife,

Straining relationships, cutting like a knife.

It blinds hearts to compassion and care,

Leaving shattered bonds and despair in the air.

In pursuit of fortunes, values decay,

As lives and connections become castaways.

Families torn asunder, torn by greed's sway,

Leaving broken hearts in its callous display.

Friendships wither, poisoned by the desire,

As the hunger for wealth fans envy's fire.

Money becomes master, friendships left in shards,

As trust erodes and hearts become scarred.

Money's allure tightens its grip,

Constraining souls with its power trip.

It dictates decisions, molding every choice,

Leaving lives entrapped, with a muted voice.

But amidst this chaos, some souls will rise,

Rejecting the chains that money implies.

For true wealth lies beyond material gain,

In love, compassion, and what we attain.

Let us break free from money's hold,

Seeking love's worth, more valuable than gold.

For money may claim power, but love transcends,

Mending broken ties, as healing extends.

So let us build a world where love is revered,

Where relationships flourish, undeterred.

Where money's grasp is loosened, hearts set free,

And genuine connections become life's decree.

In this realm, love's triumph shall prevail,

As greed and money's influence grow pale.

Embracing humility, empathy, and grace,

We'll reclaim our humanity, and find solace's embrace.
